Will 911 997 Turbo wheels fit the Cayman?
I did this same conversion about a year ago and with some experimentation have come up with what works well for me, great handling aggressive looks, no tire rub, correct diameter, etc... here's my set up:
OEM Turbo Sport design wheels, made by BBS
1) Front - 19" X 8" ET 45mm (OEM for my Cayman S), 245/35/19 Bridgestone REO50-A's 7mm spacer with longer bolts
2) Rear - 19" X 11" ET 51mm, 285/30/19 Bridgestone REO50-A's, 14mm spacer with longer bolts. I believe these were OEM with wide body options and standard on the C4S, may have been originals on Turbo's as well.
I have lowered my car with H&R's and have maxed the front and rear camber settings. I have PASM and run with the factory struts, this gives me about 3mm of rear wheel inside clearance and about 7mm of clearance from the rear lip under compression. I first tried with 285/35/19 tires but they rubbed under compression against the lips. No issues whatsoever now and looks and handles amazing!! I would avoid buying 11" factory wheels with the ET of 67mm, you would have to run with 30mm spacers in that situation..
