Дженсон Баттон: Лично я понимаю – сегодня моя машина оказалась недостаточно быстра. Понять, почему это произошло, гораздо сложнее. Обычно я хорошо контролирую состояние шин и показываю стабильное время на круге, но сегодня ничего не получилось и нам нужно найти причину.

С моей машиной что-то не так, и эту проблему не решить за одну ночь. В первых Гран При мы были очень быстры – и в квалификации, и в гонке. В Бахрейне начались проблемы, сегодня они повторились – мне никак не удаётся добиться оптимального баланса, сцепления с асфальтом просто нет. Надеюсь, к гонке в Монако мы найдём решение.

Вопрос: Если бы не штраф, гонка могла сложиться иначе?

Себастьян Феттель: Скорее всего, да. Я еще не видел, какими были отрывы на финише, но не думаю, что смог бы финишировать намного выше. Полагаю, мы могли бы рассчитывать максимум на пятый результат.
